Finally came back thursday to do this. Flash drive is full, so i did this all on the local machine in Baldwins class. It really wasn't that complicated, i was happy to see no errors and arc map dying while i was working. and i managed to do this one without coffee.

This chapter was interesting. Actually giving us a chance to edit the maps we were working with, connecting waterlines, making new divisions. It gives you an idea of what you can really do with this kind of technology. If you would've asked me anything bout maps 3 years ago, i wouldve handed you a piece of paper, or pointed you to a globe. but now man, i got the knowledge, for real.

So the first test was not so bad, its keeping a one track mind thats hard to do. I know im a little behind in this class, but everything will be caught up soon enough. Trying to understand the 75 million different acronyms is a little confusing, but im sure it will all click eventually. I need a map of mexico.

looks like i won't be getting out of this town for a while. looks like we'll be makin maps , or like they like to put it, "maintain, edit, and query geographical data in a computer". At least this seems like the most unstressful class i got.
